This page is maintained by the Pocket Moxie team to answer common privacy questions about the Pocket Moxie app and Slack integration. It describes our current practices and the controls we have enabled. It is not an independent certification or legal guarantee.

What Pocket Moxie is

Pocket Moxie is a coaching assistant that helps you think through difficult situations before you respond. It is available as a web app and as a Slack app. The service is hosted on Lovable Cloud infrastructure and uses Lovable AI Gateway for response generation.

What we collect

Account information: when you sign in, we store your user identifier and basic profile information provided by the authentication provider.
Usage data: we log interactions such as feature usage, prompts, and generated responses to improve the service, detect errors, and prevent abuse.
Slack workspace data: when you install the Pocket Moxie Slack app, we receive workspace and user identifiers from Slack so the app can respond to /moxie slash commands in your workspace.
Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

How we use your data

To provide coaching responses and conversation guidance.
To operate and improve the Slack and web apps.
To diagnose issues, maintain security, and prevent misuse.
To communicate with you about your account or support requests.

AI processing

Pocket Moxie uses AI models provided through the Lovable AI Gateway. Prompts and responses are processed by that service. We do not use the contents of your prompts or responses to train models, and we do not sell them. We retain interaction logs for service quality and debugging purposes.

Subprocessors and integrations

Pocket Moxie relies on the following service providers to operate:

Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, authentication, and server functions.
Lovable AI Gateway — AI response generation.
Slack — Slack app integration and workspace authentication.
Stripe — payment processing for paid plans.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the app is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and usage data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.

Your privacy choices

You can update or delete your account by contacting support.
You can remove the Pocket Moxie Slack app from your workspace at any time through Slack's app management settings.
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to correct inaccurate information by emailing us.

Security and incident contact

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. If you discover a security issue or have a privacy concern, please contact us at support@pocketmoxie.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The effective date at the top of the page shows the latest revision. For significant changes, we will notify users through the app or by email.
